NY Times: Trying an Old Law

NY Times has an interesting article on the ancient Alien Tort Act, which is still used in the United States to sue companies that are complicit in human rights abuses in other countries.   It's inadequate, but it's what the US has, and certainly better than nothing.  Amnesty USA has defended it.  There's a subscription wall, but it's free.
